This was my first concert ever , my Brother and I were in the first row, and he fell right on top of us !!!! I was 14 and didnt appreciate Gabriel as much as I do today , but proud to say that he was my first live concert !!!!
I was at this show! The first major concert I went to. The internet is so strange… things you thought you’d just have to remember are suddenly there for you to re-experience. It’s cool but weird.

I saw this tour in 87 in Oakland CA our crowd was a little more respectful of his clothing… He came back to the stage for 9 encore songs. Yes NINE!!!!! We were too exhausted from cheering to ask for more. Absolutely the perfect performance.

i was at this show and knowing the “entusiam” of philly fans i admired his tenacity!…
I notice that the arena security is _very_ present in the front of the crowd for this particular performance of the song, whereas at the Athens show, they remained on the stage. Philadelphia is known as a tough town, I suppose they didn’t want to take any chances.
